Kids going through bedwetting often face lasting self-esteem issues. What they don’t know is that this challenge actually connects them to some of the coolest people in the universe — astronauts.
Both rely on advanced absorption systems, just like Goodnites, to stay dry when they need to pee in space.
To change how kids see bedwetting, Goodnites, the number one nighttime underwear in the U.S., launched Mission Dry.
A mission to connect kids with astronauts and show them that even heroes need protection sometimes.
It started with a live activation where kids spoke directly with astronauts and discovered surprising similarities. Then came a social film where record-breaking astronaut Scott Kelly shared his own experience using absorption systems in space. That moment sparked more astronauts to open up and share their stories on social media, showing kids they were not alone.
To make bedtime easier, we also designed special pajamas with built-in Goodnites and earnable patches, so every child could feel like an astronaut as they got ready to sleep.

Mission Dry was all about showing kids facing bedwetting that they had more in common with astronauts than they ever imagined. And like every real space mission, Mission Dry needed its own patches. But these patches were not just souvenirs.
They were a reward system designed to help kids and parents recognize their progress in the journey of navigating bedwetting. For kids who often resisted wearing nighttime underwear, the patches made protection feel like part of a bigger mission.

︎︎︎ Film
The campaign film brought in astronaut Scott Kelly to help kids see bedwetting differently.
On a space mission, he teams up with a young astronaut facing an all-too-familiar challenge: needing to pee. Scott shows him that even real astronauts deal with this, and that using protection is simply part of the mission — giving kids the confidence to wear their Goodnites at night.
